Stephanie Magee is the driving force behind Art at the Heart. She knows first-hand the benefits of creative outlets during the school day and the catastrophic downside of no such support.

In 2018 Art at the Heart was born as a response to the overwhelming emphasis schools place on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education. This emphasis left many without reason to attend school, including our founder. However, studies have shown that including creative studies during class day leads to better success across socio-economic groups.
